The handwoven Heriz Runner No.243 with a sky-blue field and cream border brings serenity and balance to any hallway or entry space. Crafted from hand-spun Iranian wool and natural plant dyes by Bakhshayesh weavers, its soft palette and geometric design blend effortlessly with both modern and classic interiors.
The Heriz Runner No.243 is a refined expression of Persian craftsmanship, woven in Bakhshayesh, a historic village in the Heriz region of northwestern Iran. Its sky-blue field and cream border evoke the calm of the Azerbaijani highlands, creating a soothing and versatile palette that complements hallways, entryways, or living-room corridors in both modern and classic settings.
Every Gholizadeh Heriz rug is produced using hand-spun Iranian wool and 100% natural plant-based dyes such as madder root, walnut husk, and indigo. These organic materials give the carpet its distinctive depth, subtle sheen, and long-lasting durability. Most of the weavers in Bakhshayesh are relatives and descendants of the Gholizadeh family, continuing a lineage of craftsmanship that spans generations and forms the cultural heart of Heriz weaving.
At Gholizadeh Rugs, all stages of rug production — from wool spinning and dyeing to weaving and finishing — are carried out entirely in Iran by skilled Iranian artisans. This commitment to national production safeguards the authenticity, quality, and soul of Persian rug-making.
The Heriz Runner No.243 embodies Gholizadeh’s dedication to heritage and honesty — a bridge between tradition and modern living, bringing the timeless spirit of Azerbaijani artistry into homes around the world.
